As a music lover, I've been using Winamp for a very long time. However, I stumble upon a new music player which called AIMP recently and I think maybe I will say goodbye to Winamp for a while.
Perhaps you have heard about it, but for me, it's the 1st time to use it, so let's check out how about this little but awesome player.
The 1st thing it attracted me that it is not just a music player, it is a collection of music player and audio files converter, so if you want to convert your WMA files to MP3 format, you don’t need to open another software to do it, AIMP already have such a function, it’s very convenient to use. Although it is not a professional conversion tools, but I’m sure the simplest is the best and most suitable for users. By the way, AIMP audio utilities also have some other functions like Sound Recorder, Tag Editor and Audio Library.
For a music player, AIMP has such a nice user interface, it looks like the Winamp skin but you can see the visualization options, Punkie, Xoo, Analog Meter and more, each of them brings the great effect to me especially the Analog Meter, it make the player really like the professional audio equipment. If you are interest in make the player skin, you can try to design, follow the wave of Do It Yourself, I think it will so funny. You can also adjust the EQ of audio files, create playlist and so on, but I think there is no distinction between it and Winamp.
The most important thing I think is the very low memory usage, we can check the screenshot right, when I minimize it to the system tray, you can see the memory usage.

From Google, ETH Zurich, IBM Internet Security Systems, some security specialist have made a inquiry about browsers usage Goolge's viewer, found that nearly 640 million people don't update their browser to the latest version, which is the most secure version.
The report showed that, End June this year, only 59.1% Internet users to install the latest version of the browser, that is, there are 637 million people either are still using the old version, IE accounted for 577 million.

Firefox users upgrade (security) awareness is the best, before 3.0 release 92.2% have used 2.X; IE users, only 52.5% upgrade to IE7, of course, there are a lot of stick with XP system people.
The study also found that in the past 18 months are up 83.3% Firefox users upgrade to the latest version, Safari and Opera at the same time the ratio was 65.3% and 56.1%. More than Half of IE users did not have to upgrade to IE7.
Research shows that enhance the safety awareness is the most important issue, the browser should be eye-catching position to remind users upgrade the latest version and patches.
