Novelties & Highlights
In my humble opinion the two most outstanding novelties in terms of features in TuneUp Utilities 2010 are the Turbo Mode and TuneUp Live Optimization, which enable users to increase the performance of their PCs quickly and simply.

With the Turbo Mode, users can disable a large number of unnecessary background processes in their the systems just with a single click. This mode enables the full capacity of your PC when needed. In Turbo Mode all the computing power is available to the program that is currently working on. You only have to follow the wizard to configure which functions you'll disable to gain performance boost. In the next screenshot you'll be able to see some of them.

The TuneUp Live Optimization improves response times and reduces startup times of programs in real-time, even in cases where the computer is saturated with a large number of programs running simultaneously. Thus this feature lets you quickly start a program at any time and improves the response time of your applications.

Again, this feature can be configured through wizard, easy and straightforward, couldn't ask for more!

It's All About Details
There are two things that strongly called my attention in the new version of TuneUp: the first was its installation procedure which was highly quick and intuitive, just a few steps and it was all done!!

The second is the TuneUp Utilities Gadget which shows the system state on the desktop and allows direct access to the tuning options. To enable it you just have to right click on an empty space of your desktop and select Gadgets. (Only available for Windows Vista and 7)

Final Words
So, if you were one of the millions of users who chose to download TuneUp Utilities 2009, and thus enjoyed all improvements and new features regarding version 2008.
