The Firefox Web Browser is the faster, more secure, and fully customizable way to surf the web. The Mozilla predict that they will update for the Firefox 3.6.4 version on May. But now you will need to wait a bit longer.

Long time ago, there was a piece of news that Firefox 3.6 will update to Firefox 4.0, this is the next major generation products of Firefox 3.6. So the version of Firefox 3.7 has substituted for the version of Firefox 3.6.4.

Due to some blockers on the upcoming 3.6.4 build discovered, the upcoming releases have been postponed. Firefox 3.6.4 Beta 4 still exist 6 bugs through the test on last week. And next week they will test Firefox 3.6.4 Beta 5 version. So Firefox 3.6.4 have to delay to release on June. This released is later than Firefox 3.6.3 about 2 months.

Google Launch 'Google Storage' At I/O To Challenge Amazon S3

Posted in Internet, News  by Ricky

During the conference of I/O this week, Google will be announcing a new service that is a direct competitor with Amazon’s S3 cloud storage. This service will be called Google Storage for Developers, or 'GS'. And we believe that Google Storage will be available in a private beta initially. We also hear that the service will be positioned to make it very easy for existing S3 customers to make the switch to Google Storage.

Google Storage include some features, such as a REST API, the ability to use Google accounts to offer authenticated downloads and the ability to use Google accounts to offer authenticated downloads and data redundancy. In the meanwhile, it can offer a command line tool to manage their data, and there will be a web interface to developers.

TechCrunch think that it will bring a huge market pressure of Amazon S3 when Google Storage Service launched.

Microsoft Announces Hotmail Enhancements To Make It Cool Again

Posted in Chat & E-mail, News  by Joanna

Microsoft announced the latest enhancements to its Hotmail Web mail service. The free Web mail service soon will be switching to a new approach that Microsoft hopes will give Hotmail an edge over rival offerings from Yahoo Inc. and Google Inc.

Microsoft announced substantial updates to Windows Live Hotmail on May 18, with an emphasis on tools and features that eliminate spam, reduce clutter, and allow for tasks such as sending 10GB of photos per message. Hotmail will leverage Windows Live services to mine contacts from social-networking services such as Facebook and MySpace. The new Hotmail additions fit with three Web trends: consolidating services from across the Web into a single application, providing that application's services via mobile, and adding new features to an application to make it more competitive.

The new Hotmail also emphasizes a mobile component, with e-mail synchronization between a smartphone and the Web. Research In Motion, Nokia and other partners are apparently building custom Hotmail apps for their respective devices. Read the rest of this entry »

Adobe Shows 'love' To Apple In Stead Of War?

Posted in News, Photograph & Graphics  by Joanna

The big news today, Adobe is firing back at Apple with love. Adobe is taking an interesting new route in their ongoing feud with Apple, starting a new ad campaign highlighting the company's "love" for the electronics giant. The company is running ads in newspapers and popular technology blogs saying "We Love Apple" - with a bright red heart in place of love.

Jobs had described Flash as outdated, unreliable and unfit for Apple's iPhone and iPad gadgets. In a detailed, 1,685-word offensive posted online two weeks ago. Jobs spelled out the reasons why Apple continues to ban Flash from its mobile devices, including "reliability, security and performance," and the fact that Flash was designed "for PCs using mice, not for touch screens using fingers."
