Microsoft, the software giant’s s forthcoming Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate build will introduce an important new filtering feature which will let users selectively pick which parts of Web pages can load ActiveX elements.
According to blog WinRumors, “The filter will allow users to control what ActiveX elements are displayed on sites they visit, furthering Microsoft’s commitment to security within its browser.” The security-focused feature will be included inside the first release candidate for Internet Explorer 9, which is expected to release in later this month. The software giant is expected to ship the feature inside Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate.

The browser tabs and buttons of Internet Explorer 9 RC have also been improved. The build features square tabs and minor UI enhancements to the address bar buttons in IE9. Microsoft has also updated its download manager so that it now displays the transfer speed without the need to hover over individual downloads. No, this time it’s not Microsoft Word or Excel, but with the publish of OneNote Mobile for iPhone today, Microsoft has begun to put its Office suite on the iPhone.
Over the past a few years, OneNote has been available as part of the Office suite for Windows (since Office 2003); there hasn’t been, and still isn’t, a Mac desktop client. Last year, Microsoft introduced a Web-app version of OneNote.

Microsoft Office VP Takeshi Numoto explained OneNote in more detail in an Office Exec blog post. "In case you haven’t experienced the unsung hero of Office, OneNote is a digital notebook that lets you put everything you need to remember in one electronic place and then easily find it wherever you are. The government of Indonesia has got Research in Motion (RIM) to give in and filter pornographic websites as part of an agreement that will give it access to encrypted customer data.
Research In Motion Ltd. made a commitment last week to install the filters after Indonesia threatened to revoke its license to operate their business in the country, one of the world’s most populous Muslim nation. The Canada-based company had made sure the details of the deal in a meeting with government officials on Monday.

According to Reuters, RIM said in a statement, "Research In Motion confirms that it shares Minister Tifatul Sembirings sense of urgency on this matter and it is fully committed to working with Indonesias carriers to put in place a prompt, compliant filtering solution for Blackberry subscribers in Indonesia as soon as possible." Apple’s App Store is approaching to 10 billion downloads of mobile apps. Apple posted a download countdown page on its site as it approaches 10 billion apps downloaded. To celebrate the forthcoming milestone, the iPhone maker has launched a countdown screen and a sweepstakes under which the individual downloading the 10 billionth app could win a substantial prize.

Today, Microsoft published five new plans for Office 365 cloud Service Suite mainly aimed at offering educational institutions to get the hosted Office Services, and licensed version of the Microsoft Office software.
Microsoft announced that the educational version of Office 365 Service which will be available for the K-12, primary and junior education institutions, later this year. This service give the K-12 institutions 5 services options, such as the free plan which is the lowest level and the highest level of 17$ per month. The free plan offers services like Web e-mail and anti-virus, as well as the 17$ plan brings the combination including VoIP and Microsoft licensed Office Professional Plus for staffs and faculty of K-12. Besides, the same plan for students takes 5$ per month.
