Astonsoft Ltd has launched version 4.5 of both free and Pro editions of its personal information manager, EssentialPIM. Version 4.5, which is also available as a portable build, adds a number of new features and improvements.
The most notable new features is the full sync capabilities with Google Docs and Google Tasks, a new Attachment Manager and support for custom fields and filters in the To Do Module – are restricted to EssentialPIM 4.5 Pro only.
Other minor new features are available to both Free and Pro users. EssentialPIM 4.5 gains support for one-way syncs with all supported online services, with a new option for choosing whether to synchronize First/Last or Last/First names. The password module is also the recipient of several unspecified “improvements”.

Kingsoft, better known for its dictionary and security software solutions, has released Kingsoft Office 2012 Beta version. The latest version of Kingsoft’s alternative to Microsoft Office similarly consists of Kingsoft Writer, Presentation and Spreadsheet. The English language version follows the earlier release of Japanese and English versions.
The key upgrade for Kingsoft Office 2012 is the Microsoft Ribbon Interface; users can chose to use the old style Interface or the new Ribbon Interface. In addition operation is much faster when compared to previous versions, upto ten times quicker. What’s more the installation file size has been reduced.

Google has announced that it will acquire Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion. The search and online advertising company is buying the company for approximately $12.5 billion (or $40 per share), in cash. The takeover will boost the rise of Google's Android software in the nascent smartphone market. The $40-a-share deal – which is Google's biggest acquisition to date – is a 63% premium on Motorola Mobility's closing price on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.

If there is one skill you could wish for yourself to become a better internet marketer, internet marketing advisor or businessman what skill would you choose? With this communication skills and this example this guy won’t sell a thing. So, there is one bad thing that can happen to you and that is having everything required for good business or project but you simply don’t know how to present it. With bad communication skills you are simply helpless and you are lost in your work and in your progress.
You have two options: hiring someone to do it for you or learn communication skills and start to grow your business.

Google released Google Docs app for Android, allows for the creation, editing, and collaborating, provides a native environment for the service, as well as some convenient new features. Google Docs app is more of a document manager than a solid word processor.
Google Docs app allow users to do what they most likely wants to do, which is search through documents, share them with contacts, and upload and convert the files into the Google documents format. Changes that are made will be done in real-time, and an Internet connection is required to edit new documents. Google Docs App is not really intended for creation, but consumption.

Next week, Microsoft Mac Business will be released with the first Service Pack of Office for Mac 2011 cross platform suite, which provides increased stability, security, and some new features, including improved Outlook syncing support as well as some performance enhancements.
Microsoft's Office for Mac 2011 will enable calendar syncing between Outlook for Mac and Apple’s Sync Services, allows user’ Outlook calendar as well as contacts, notes and tasks with any service or device that supports Sync Services, including their iPhone and iPad. The first service pack for Office for Mac 2011 will have a number of enhancements to increase stability and security fixes.
It is strange that the Service Pack won't sync with new MobileMe calendar using Sync Services and hence the Outlook for Mac calendars won't sync.

Today, Microsoft published five new plans for Office 365 cloud Service Suite mainly aimed at offering educational institutions to get the hosted Office Services, and licensed version of the Microsoft Office software.
Microsoft announced that the educational version of Office 365 Service which will be available for the K-12, primary and junior education institutions, later this year. This service give the K-12 institutions 5 services options, such as the free plan which is the lowest level and the highest level of 17$ per month. The free plan offers services like Web e-mail and anti-virus, as well as the 17$ plan brings the combination including VoIP and Microsoft licensed Office Professional Plus for staffs and faculty of K-12. Besides, the same plan for students takes 5$ per month.

As a part of the new plan, Microsoft offers the students Lync Online communication platform and SharePoint Online for free, while the faculty and staffs has to pay 10$ per month per user for this plan. Read the rest of this entry »
