It is still widely believed among Windows users that free burning software suites do not provide access to the same set of options nor that they deliver the same quality recordings that many commercial burning programs are offering.

ImgBurn is one of those free CD burning programs. It supports burning CD, DVD, HD DVD and Blu-Ray discs in its lightweight and easy to use interface. Users can use ImgBurn to burn files from the computer to a disk, rip disk images to the computer, and write image files to a disk and to verify if a disk is readable after creation.
There are two ways on how to use ImgBurn after installation. The first is by using the Windows Explorer right-click shell extension that makes it possible to directly burn image files on the computer to disk. All that needs to be done is to right-click one of the support image formats (IN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI) and select ImgBurn from the list.
