Mozilla has confirmed that the next major update is Firefox 4.0. The 4.0 Version is headed for an October or November 2010 release and will bring new users interface and browser sync integration. They predict that the first beta hitting will appear in June.

Previously, developers had planned to follow the last major release of Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 3.7.But Mozilla have some changed. The former Firefox 3.7 will be released as Firefox 3.6.4. At the end of this year, the new 4.0 version will coming.

I always use default profile for testing new functions before, and sometimes something goes terribly wrong, my settings are lost.
