Share Photos On Web Albums With Picasa

Posted in Photograph & Graphics, Reviews  by Maya

I searched hard long time for a good photo tool to manage my growing digital photos collection. Fortunately, Picasa from Google which is really a cool thing helps me.

Once photos are imported by Picasa, it can do the thumbnails generation and indexing in the folders. It lets you view them as a timeline, slideshow, or list view, too. Compared with ACDSee, the most popular and powerful photo manager, Picasa is easier to install, faster to view, lovelier user interface.

Picasa also includes additional features such as cropping, red-eye removal, you can do these just by a few clicks. If you just want to add some easy effects to images, Picasa is good and advisably. It will keep you far away from the perplexing functions of Adobe Photoshop.

The important highlight is that you can easily share photos with others through email, prints and on the web, even blog.

Picasa Web Albums is the fastest and easiest way to put your photos on the web. Just select the photos in Picasa that you want to share and click to publish. In seconds, those photos will be on your own web page, ready to share with the people you know.

If you're looking forward to post multiple photos onto your blog, Picasa's "BlogThis!" button does the hard work for you by automatically transferring selected photos directly to Blogger.

It is worth mentioning that with a Google account you can login the Web Albums directly, and edit your blog from Picasa.

Also, if you want photo printing, you can pick photos straight out of Picasa and upload them directly to your favorite online photo finishers to order prints and other products.
