Acronis Backup & Security 2010 is a subscription-based full-featured home PC protection solution. Specially, both internal threats which cause data loss, and external threats which damage your systems and data, are all in its control.

After the installation, its main interface is very clear and you can click the buttons on it to start scanning. Here we have a look at it:

All together there are mainly five parts: Dashboard, Security, Parental, File vault and Network. Clicking each of them, you will find different procedures. You can check the overall status in the Dashboard, and a note reminding the issues affecting the security status if there do exist. In this module, you can also see your registration status together with links to the most important on-demand tasks. Applications That Will Help You Manage & Protect Your PC

Many of us know that we have a need to protect our computers; we know that if we don't protect our PC's then drastic changes that are the least favorable will take place, however, what some of us don't know is what we can do in order to ensure our PC's safety, for the most part. Within the following paragraphs I will introduce you to four applications that will help you remember your passwords, unlock PDF files if the need ever arises and you've forgotten the password, full protect and secure USB sticks that are plugged into your drive and how to protect your emails by encryption.

It usually isn't an easy task when you have to remember multiple passwords. Many times you'll register for one site with a set password while the next site might require you to add numbers or capital letters to it. Even so managing several passwords can sometimes be compared to a juggling act. However, there are solutions to this problem. You could write down all your passwords on a flimsy sheet of paper, or list them in an Excel or Word document, making you very vulnerable since your passwords can be found by anyone.

Password Memory allows you to encrypt and manage any password you'd like. This app will also aid you in logging into selected websites quicker and easier without having to constantly enter the information every time you visit a site.
